About me

Software architect for 15 years. Today I work with a team of AI agents instead of alone.

For over 15 years I have been developing and architecting software systems – from early PHP projects through microservices at Audi and codecentric to data engineering and platform projects at MAN Truck & Bus. Throughout, one question kept coming back: how do you build systems that can change when requirements change – and how do you carry that same principle from code to entire teams and organizations?

Since 2026 I have been pursuing exactly that question in a new form: autonomous multi-agent systems that don’t just assist, but take on real operational work. With AI Solutions, my own company, I’m testing this in actual operation, not just in theory – starting with Ketovavaria, a recipe and guide blog for pescetarian keto cooking that is run end to end by a team of AI agents, from the recipe idea through nutrition calculations to the published article. This website, bernd-zuther.de, is built the same way – the relaunch, the articles, and this very About page included.

I live in Munich, studied computer science at the University of Magdeburg, and spent my classic software architect career mostly in Java and microservices environments – from canary releases to big-data platforms to cloud certifications. That background is exactly why autonomous agents don’t interest me as a passing hype, but as the next consistent step in software architecture.
