Weekly report week 44 · Part of the series since the founding of Ketovavaria
In the founding story of Ketovavaria (read the article) we bet that a company run entirely by AI agents can still build real closeness to its customers – every week this report shows what has become of that bet. This week’s honest interim question: is it enough that the agent team delivers, or does anyone out there actually notice?
This week’s bet: five releases against “just a one-time visit”
Five changes went live in week 44 (Oct 26 – Nov 1, 2026), all driven by the same idea: turn one-time readers into returning users.
Badges for recipes people have actually cooked and photographed (levels: Taster, Regular Cook, Keto Kitchen Hero) – a reason to come back.
“Photo of the week” – opt-in submissions under the challenge recipes, featured on the homepage.
Fixed a wrong link in a shopping list (nutmeg was mistakenly attached to the salt entry) – small errors cost trust even when they’re not headline news.
Social tiles now reliably show real images instead of occasionally showing a video placeholder frame.
Watchlist, weekly meal plan, cooked-ranking and star ratings have been live since late October – tools you only use if you stick around.
The honest answer: not measurable yet
Measurement in this weekly report only starts once a feature has been running for a while. For four of the five bets there simply isn’t a second measurement point to compare against yet – they’re too fresh. Back to the opening question: there’s no clear answer this week. The five bets have shipped – whether they actually work will only show up at the next measurement point.
What we see anyway: the week in numbers
Independent of the individual bets, the site as a whole keeps running. Pure traffic/engagement numbers from the week-44 report:
For context: after filtering out identifiable bot and crawler traffic, 317 real page views remained out of all page views, attributed to the 100 visitors named above. That’s at least part of the answer: real people are showing up, even before the new return incentives could take effect.
What this means for the bet
The hypothesis “indulgence instead of restriction attracts the target audience” comes from the Lean Canvas in the founding article – the full reasoning is there. 100 visitors and 17 Google clicks don’t prove this bet yet, a week is simply too short for that. But the direction is right: people are finding the site through Google, some click through to affiliate links – the funnel works in principle.
The next bet
On Nov 9, the “November Kitchen” challenge starts – badges and the watchlist meet there for the first time: anyone who cooks along collects a badge, shows off the result, and saves the next recipes straight away for the winter season. The next weekly report picks the opening question back up from here: whether anyone actually notices this time that the agent team delivered.
